The NYC Fair Trade Coalition is a grassroots organization that promotes fair trade businesses and retailers in New York City and educates consumers on the importance of fair trade. We partner with ethically-aligned businesses, retailers, NGOs, and citizens in New York City to host events and engage the public in dialogue.

The NYC Fair Trade Coalition is proud to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals. Built upon the success of the Millennium Development Goals (2000-2015), the 17 SDGs offer a blueprint for international and cross-sectoral efforts to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
As proponents for fair trade and sustainable practices in business, and especially fashion, our members work independently and collaboratively to promote the SDGs through startup brands, education, grassroots advocacy, and research.
